We are currently accepting applications to train with us! If you would like to register your child to train with us, please click "Join" on the menu at the top of this page and complete the registration form. A member of our team will then be in touch to guide you through the next steps.
We take any student in school Year 3 and above, up to and including 18- and 19-year olds who are preparing to audition for full-time performing arts college, universities, or entry directly into the industry. If your child is in school Year 2, but is interested in our training, we would initially offer a free 2- to 3-week trial period to ensure that your child will be able to thrive in our fast-paced and sometimes quite demanding training sessions.
If you would like to arrange a free, no-obligation trial or discussion, please get in touch with us by using the contact form below; we always offer one free trial day to prospective students.
Fees are generally paid termly, and are due on the 1st day of the month preceding the beginning of each term. However, for families in genuine need or hardship, there are options to apply for talent-based scholarship discounts, as well as options to pay monthly, rather than termly. These can be applied for via our registration form.
Our primary focus is training and development, however performance opportunities are also an important part of our training. For this reason, we stage a musical theatre showcase in a prestigious London venue every other year. Additionally, at the end of each term, each class shares their "work in progress" with the rest of the school in a closed, supportive, workshop-style session. We also regularly participate in Take The Stage, a major showcase performance at the 1,600-seater Cliffs Pavilion, in Southend.
No! As long as your child attends our Core Training on Saturdays (10am - 1pm), they may take extra training anywhere else, at any other time. All we ask is that we are made and kept aware of any other performing arts training that your child undertakes, so we are fully aware of their workload and other commitments.
We are not an agency, and we do not submit students for professional work. However, we are delighted to have excellent relationships with a number of leading UK agencies and industry groups, so we are able to facilitate and recommend representation and professional work where appropriate for each individual. Every year, we have at least one professional agent visit us for talent scouting, and four leading agencies watched our most recent production in order to scout talent, with over 25% of our students receiving offers of representation following this. In total, just over 60% of our students are currently represented by some of the UK's top professional agencies, including Stagebox UK, Sylvia Young Agency, 33 Juniors (33 Ltd.), and Frank Holder Management.
