Mini MTC offers keen young performers aged 4 to 7 the opportunity to take their first steps into "triple threat" training: acting, singing, and dance. Our hand-picked team of specialist performing arts tutors are experts at inspiring young people!
Learning to sing, act, and dance helps with making friends, as well as building confidence, self-esteem, motor skills, social and interpersonal skills, language skills, reading, diction, musicality, and so much more!
Every session includes a variety of activities designed to explore acting, singing, and dance, ensuring children start to build and hone the vital skills required for musical theatre performance - while having lots of fun!

Mini MTC takes place on Saturdays during term-time, at our venue in central Chelmsford, Essex, and is open to children in the following school year groups: Reception, Year 1, and Year 2.
Sessions run from 10.00am to 11.30am, with drop-off open from 9.45am. Each session includes activities that explore singing, acting, and dance, and is led by our hand-picked team of specialists. All Musical Theatre Centre staff undergo regular Enhanced DBS checks, and have years of experience in both performing arts education and the theatre industry itself.
Each session is led by two specialist teachers and one assistant teacher, with a maximum class size of 24 children.
Mini MTC is charged either monthly or termly, at either £54.00 per month, or £190.00 per term. Each term consists of between 11 and 14 Saturdays.

(she/her) Cody studied at the University of South Wales and later gained qualified teacher status with a PGCE at the University of East London. Cody's work in the arts is diverse and rich, ranging from vocal coaching for young people's camps in the US, work with the Royal Opera House as a Cultural Champion, and teaching at a range of top performing arts schools across Essex and beyond. Cody also works professionally as an events vocalist and children's entertainer.
(she/her) Natasha Mason trained at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, following a Distinction in Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dance & Production Arts with Dimensions Dance Company. Recently Natasha has been touring the UK and China with the multi-award-winning Spirit of the Dance. Natasha was a featured dance artiste at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, and her teaching experience includes the University of Liverpool and the Amanda Restell Academy of Dance.
